This topic came about because of the new role that we some choose to accept. Being a leader can be difficult and sometimes very difficult at times because of people who passionately disagree, but it's those who really don't give a fuck other than they need a paycheck; that's when life can be difficult for basic standards that tend to lead to just feel defeated.
John Sedlak always has a great story to tell of days past, and when we get a chance to chat and swap stories; it's eerie sometimes how similar the situations get. Dealing with people when you really try and care is one thing, but to be the person that can change the work environment with an idea in efficiency, and your boss shuts you down... that sometimes can be a low blow that can fester. I've said it before, for those of us out there that try to do a good job, we tend to beat our selves up the hardest inside, even if situation doesn't seem like such a big thing.
This wasn’t that long ago…
Not too long ago, coming out from the caves we were in for months at time, I purchased a polaroid camera and when we finally were deep in it at work with reopening, I took some snaps of myself and my coworkers.
